Al Baldwin, Certified Diesel Mechanic, Owner and Operator
Al grew up watching his dad and grandpa working on 18-wheelers and diesel trucks, Al never thought of doing anything else. Al's grandpa started repairing dump trucks in the 60's which led into diesel repair in the 70's. His grandfather was part of the team that laid the majority of I-295. Following in his grandpa and dads footsteps, Al watched and learned from a couple of the best!
Al began his career as a diesel mechanic with Dolan International. In the early 90's, Al made the move out west to Colorado and gained even more experience with Kenworth, Freightliner and Caterpillar. In 2006 he opened Interstate 70 Truck and Trailer Repair in Grand Junction, Colorado.
He and his wife Lori moved back to Mechanicsville, VA in 2016 to be near family and re-opened as Baldwin Truck Service. Lori runs the day-to-day office operations while Al man's his shop. From small fixes to more complex repairs, Baldwin Truck Service is more than happy to help!
